Who will I study the course with?

Everything you need to complete the course will be provided by Frisby College. This includes weekly online seminars with our business coaches.

What qualification will I gain with this course?

Depending on which course you choose, upon successful completion, you will receive either the ATHE Level 3 Award in Entrepreneurship or the ATHE Level 3 Certificate in Entrepreneurship.

 

What is the difference between the Award and Certificate in Entrepreneurship?

The Award is an 8 credit qualification requiring approximately 80 hours of total study time from you to complete the qualification. The Certificate is a 16 credit qualification allowing you to choose more course units.

 

Who is ATHE UK (Awards for Training and Higher Education UK)?

ATHE UK is a British national awarding body offering Ofqual regulated qualifications in various areas of study.

What is the difference between ATHE Awards, Certificates and Diplomas?

Each type of qualification specifies a different number of total study hours involved. As a reference, an Extended Diploma includes 120 credits and is equivalent to one academic year of full-time study at college or university. The Award and Certificate are smaller qualifications designed to be completed over a much quicker period of time.

Does this course lead to an internationally recognised qualification?

Yes, once you have successfully completed the course you will have gained a qualification regulated by Ofqual England. ATHE qualifications are accepted by many institutions and employment markets worldwide.

What is Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation)?

Ofqual is a non-ministerial department of the British Government that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England.

How long does the course take to complete?

Our course for the Award in Entrepreneurship runs for 2 weeks and the Certificate in Entrepreneurship 4 weeks. For both courses learners are expected to complete 4 credits of work each week.

What happens if I don't finish by the end of the course?

If you need more time to finish your course tasks or make improvements to meet qualification requirements then your registration as a Frisby College learner will be extended, however there will be no additional seminars provided after your course schedule is completed. Your course advisor will provide ongoing support until your qualification is complete.
