Our courses for the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management ensure learners meet assessment requirements for these 120-credit Ofqual regulated qualifications in Strategic Management. Courses can be completed full-time over 20-22 weeks or part-time over 40-42 weeks and are delivered via classroom instruction or our distance learning platform.
The ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management is of an equivalent level to a Postgraduate Diploma (120-credit) in Management and aims to further develop key skills in management, leadership and research with a range of specialist units available in Finance, HR, Marketing and Personal Development.
This course leads to a level 7 Diploma Award that provides entry to MBA and MSc (Top-up) programmes with universities in England and Wales.
Our courses for the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management can be combined with a single unit research project (60-credits) validated by one of our UK Partner Universities to award learners with an MBA (Top-up) Degree.

Academic Profile
Nationally recognized Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalents.
Business Studies Profile
Has completed an Ofqual regulated level 6 qualification in management such as:
ATHE Level 6 Extended Diploma in Management
English Profile
A minimum of CEFR B2 level English demonstrated via a standardised English test. Learn more about our B2 English courses
Entry through Recognised Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants with practical experience at higher management levels may request to enrol for this courses absent of an Ofqual regulated level 6 qualification in management if they can demonstrate prior knowledge and management skills adequately.

RPL is generally accepted for admission when the applicant meets the following criteria:

A minimum of 5 years experience at higher management levels demonstrated by a project portfolio.

A letter of reference from an organization or employer validating managerial skills and recent senior roles.

Learners who complete this qualification can then continue their academic pathway via one of two progression routes:

Higher Education Pathway
Enter on to MBA programmes with a range of universities in England and Wales. Learners should consult with their chosen university regarding transfer of credits for pathways.
