Welcome to our Diploma in the Montessori Approach to Teaching English as a Foreign Language to children.

 

This course has been developed using over 25 years' experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language to learners of all ages. The Montessori Method is a well-known successful method of teaching which places emphasis on the learners' needs, learning pace and ideal learning environment. This course describes the teacher's role in a Montessori setting, as well as successful classroom setup and materials.

There are no entry requirements for this course, but we expect you to have a passion for teaching and a very good knowledge of English as your language of communication for this course. You will be required to submit assignments and complete a short end-of-course quiz.

 

Your 60-hour course includes 4 study sections and 5 assignments. The course is self-paced so you can study part-time or full-time, whichever you prefer. We offer weekly live sessions for you to attend in our online classroom. These are not compulsive, but it would be lovely to see you there. Our live sessions give you the opportunity to get to know your tutor, ask any questions and have in-depth discussions about the course.
